The day my column ran about using coupons more effectively to save money, I broke my own cardinal rule -- I went to the grocery store without a list or a single coupon.

I simply can't believe some of things being sold in stores for little girls. My daughters are young and I want them to dress like little girls. But when we walk into a department store there are dresses made for grown women  shrunk down to a little girl's size. What's up with that?

My daughters are immediately attracted to those items of clothing. But they get the same reaction from me - "I don't think so!"
