"All Walks of Life" Annual Lake Bash
5-9 p.m. June 17, Lake Mayer Park, 1850 E. Montgomery Crossroad. This event is for kids and community members to come out, throw a few water balloons, play games and enjoy live entertainment from Savannah's most talented youth. Seventh Annual International Surfing Day
10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 18, South Beach, Tybee Island. Hosted by the Surfrider Foundation Coastal Georgia/Lowcountry Chapter. Show your appreciation for our beaches, shores and bodies of water. Activities include push and surf for parents and children, SUP/Surfboard Demos, SUP races, prone surfboard race, water conservation demo, area clean-up after end of day. Free. JCB 5k Charity Run
7:45 a.m. Kids Dash (free), 8 am 5k at The Lady Bamford Center, 2000 Bamford Blvd., Pooler, GA, 31322. Lake walk and kids games to follow. It will be a unique opportunity to explore the 1,000 acre private property that is home to a lake, beautiful wooded scenery, and of course our world famous yellow machines. In addition to the main race we will be having a 1 mile Lake Walk and 400m Kidâ€™s Dash along with plenty of entertainment and prizes.

5 p.m. at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa. BBQ for the Humans and Bow Wow Buffet for the pups! All family members and their dog(s) are welcome to this all-you-can-eat buffet in the Club Pavilion. Also enjoy a Silent Auction and vendor/activity booths! Cost: $30 for adults, $15 for children (dogs free) Handlers will be available for any pups that would rather be outside enjoying the open air. The dog play area will be located on the croquet lawn. This is where all dog activities will be and dogs can play in a fenced-in area.
